Since its creation, the PES has been modernizing, changing and innovating to become a more open, democratic, influential and effective Party for socialists and social democrats in Europe and for the benefit of all European citizens.
I am proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but there is still a lot to do. We need now to develop our network of PES activists and increase the connection between citizens and European progressive politics. With a stronger PES, we can make the difference! In compliance with EU regulations regarding funding of political parties at European level, this contribution will be used to help the development of the activities of the PES and is not used to finance member parties, MEPs or candidates or their campaign; the PES has also the liability to declare its sources of funding by providing a list specifying the donors and the donations if the donations amount €500 or more.
Please note that a political party at European level shall not accept donations exceeding €12,000.
