Victory for Croatian Social Democrat in Presidential Elections

The PES welcomes the excellent results of Ivo Josipovic, the Social Democratic Party's (SDP) candidate, in the elections for President of the Republic of Croatia. President Josipovic won with an overwhelming majority of 60.3 % of the votes.
