The PES has set up a Working Group on Eastern European Neighbours, chaired by Peter Schieder (MP, SPÖ, Austria).
Its aim is to analyse the transformation and democratisation processes in four Eastern European countries: Belarus, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine, in close co-operation with our partners in these countries.
The “PES Working Group on Eastern European Neighbours” works in close cooperation and exchange information with the European Forum for Democracy and Solidarity.
