The EU policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict: Towards a coherent approach based on international law

The aim of the workshop was to give an update of the human rights situation in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory from the perspective of representatives from organisations on the ground. Furthermore there was a discussion of two different avenues where the EU can exercise some leverage over Israel in order to promote respect for human rights, international and humanitarian law: namely the use of conditionality and the implementation of EU-Israel cooperation in accordance with international law.
