Leaders' meeting in Berlin, 24 March 2007

PES Leaders met ahead of the Summit to mark the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome. They agreed a declaration heralding the successes of the EU and acknowledging the challenges ahead. They stated that the New Social Europe must be the political ambition of the EU.
