Poul Nyrup Rasmussen met with Amir Peretz, Leader of Israeli Labour Party, at Socialist International Council, held in Athens on 30 and 31 January 2006.Upon a discussion on the stakes of the forthcoming Israeli parliamentarian elections, PES president says he supports Amir Peretz and wishes the Labour Party and yahad-meretz' victory.
