A People’s Dialogue

I am proud to announce the Party of European Socialists’ “People’s Dialogue” on the future policies of Europe.

The “People’s Dialogue” is a consultation on the policies that matter to people’s lives. It is about taking the concerns of citizens as our point of departure for a direction that people can unite around.

We want to connect with our people on their hopes and expectations of Europe.

PES member parties are organising grassroots events in many countries in the first half of 2006.

Europe entered a “period of reflection” after the rejection of the European constitution by voters in France and the Netherlands. As President of Europe’s social democratic family I am pleased to offer a People’s Dialogue as the road from reflection to action. I invite you to take part!
