I was delighted to learn of the news of your success yesterday evening. We need more strong women like you in power in our European socialist, social democrat and labour parties.

As President of PES Women, I would like to invite you to speak at the next meeting of PES Women on 30 June in Brussels. Other speakers include Commissioner Margot Wallstrom and an equality minister from one of our parties. We will be discussing communication with women voters in elections and referenda.
