Financial markets can not govern us! - Letter to the EU Presidency

Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, Michel Rocard  and Daniel Daianu launched an initiative by leading individuals from different political families to get the European Union to get the European Union and the international institutions to respond more decisively to the global financial crisis. Eight former Prime Ministers, two former European Commission Presidents and six former Finance/Economics Ministers signed letters to European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, the Slovenian Presidency of the European Council and to French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
