PES Women has three statutory meetings per year and one yearly conference which focuses on a specific theme.

- The Members of the PES Women Executive met on 31 May 2006 where they discussed the upcoming Conference in Helsinki on 6 and 7 October 2006, PES Congress in Oporto on 7 and 8 December 2006 as well as the preparation for next PES Women elections prior to the Congress. Mary McPhail, Secretary General, European Women's Lobby, Catelene Passchier, Confederal Secretary, European Trade Union Confederation, Jenny Watson, Chair of Equal Opportunities Commission (UK), Tijs Broeke, Equal Opportunities Commission (UK) were also invited to debate on gender equality, gender pay gap and ethnical minorities and the role of women.

- Autumn: PES Women meeting
- 30 June: PES Women meeting. The focus of the meeting was on communication with women voters.
- 18 March: PES Women’s first annual conference “More and better jobs: an EU priority?” Short report on conference
17 January: PES Women meeting. The main issue on the agenda was the ten year review of the Platform for Action agreed by governments from across the world in Beijing 10 years ago. A resolution was adopted.
