PES Visit to China, 2-7 July 2007
From 2-7 July a PES Delegation travelled to China to participate in a series of high level meetings with President Hu Jintao, Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai, Minister Tian Chengping of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Minister of the International Department of the CPC Wang Jiarui. PES President, Poul Nyrup Rasmussen engaged top chinese politicians in a wide-ranging discussion on workers and human rights, climate change and capital funds.
