France : Royal, you can't be serious
Date2006/10/25 14:29 by: SocDemS Royal, who can be the next PS candidate in 2007 said :
[il faudrait] supprimer les aides européennes aux entreprises qui délocalisent d’un pays européen vers un autre pays européen
Translation (approx) : [I popose to]suppress european funds for societies which produce in another european country than their own
I must say : [Deleted] French PS is nationalist ? The PES has to react !
"Comment administrator: SocDem, please read the code of conduct. You have to remain polite!
About your translation: It is indeed wrong. "Delocaliser" means "to swap out" production. In my oppinion this is a European and not a nationalistic discussion. End comment"

Date2006/10/29 00:09 by: MikeYou made a translation error. This is not at all what she said. The European Union shouldn't support enterprises that move their production to a cheaper country with money. Sometimes the movement of production is only made because the EU funds it. Without these funds another country wouldn't be cheaper. This is not fair and if you think so then go to all family fathers and mothers who lost their job and tell them that the EU paid for that!
