PES Activists have no voting rights in the PES!
Date2005/08/03 17:35 by: kris adriaenssensHow can the PES become more democratic and grow without having a strong militant backbone?
Why should militants from national socialist parties not have the same voting rights on an European level?
This is a missed change for the PES to create an European political party. -

Date2005/08/05 07:21 by: José Cardoso RamosThis is true... I would consider join the PES as political party but I would NEVER join the PES member party in Portugal, the Socialist Party- PS, that is corrupt, rich dominated and lobby-led and has very few socialists in it.

Regrets
Date2005/08/07 10:25 by: Aleksander GlogowskiI fully share the concern of Kries. Before becoming a member of my national socialist party (french PS) I would be delighted to become full member of the PES as I consider myself as a European rather than a French or a Polish guy. When this change in our statutes will occur?
The sooner, the better! -

Date2005/08/08 10:40 by: Democratic SocialistAs polish what is your oppinion about the corrupt SLD polish government? It's not only corrupt, but also led by the US, that's why it supported the Iraq war and all US initiatives... I think the polish people are starving for the US interests and the "socialist" government of Poland it's the responsable. That's the reason the SLD-UP is sinking in the polls... in the most recent it has just 5-6% ... And I think it is very good to teach this guys a good lesson.
